Common questions

Is the money real?

No. The simulator gives you $50,000 of play money. Nothing is sent to a broker, and you can't win or lose real money.

Are the prices live?

No. Prices are simulated on your device. They move like the real market, with realistic volatility, earnings and bid/ask spreads, but they are not live quotes.

Why did my practice option disappear?

It probably reached expiry. Expired, exercised and assigned trades move to your closed trades, where the Verdict shows what made or lost the money.

How do I skip ahead in time?

In the Simulator tab, tap Skip ahead to jump an hour, a day, a week, or to just after your next expiry.

How do I change the language?

The app follows your phone's language. To pick another one, go to Settings → Language. It's available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian.

How do I start over?

Settings → Reset simulator account puts your practice account back to $50,000. To start the whole app from the beginning, uninstall and reinstall it: your data is only on your device.

Privacy

There are no accounts. Read the privacy policy for the anonymous usage and crash data the app uses, and how to ask us to delete it.
